This place is located on the
corner of 19th and Carnelian. You absolutely cannot miss eating their
rotisserie-style chicken, it is fantastic. The skin is slightly crisp and
full of flavor, and the meat is tender and juicy. If you order a whole
chicken, they have little containers of a garlic sauce (that probably has a
yogurt base) that is out of this world. I always end up buying an extra
container or two. Even thinking about this makes my mouth water, as though
I were some subject in one of Pavlov's experiments.
If I were to rank it compared to other chicken places, here's how it would
go: 1)Zaky's 2)Juan Pollo 3) At a distant third: El Pollo Loco. The
grilled beef shish kabob is tender and flavorful. I've heard the Greek
salad great as well. They have a number of combination
plates, with the shish kabobs and other meats. This is Definitely a Hidden
Gem in Your Area!
